TEACHING EXPERIENCE: Long-time Independent Piano Studio Teacher. Formerly an applied Music Teacher at Cuesta College and part-time Class Piano Instructor at Allan Hancock College. Taught summer College for Kids Program at Allan Hancock College. Former Kindergarten Teacher in Redwood City.
PERFORMANCES: Many solo and lecture piano recitals in churches, private homes, and public schools Participated in a public master class in Graz, Austria at the International Piano Workshop for a summer. Guest soloist for the Allan Hancock Concert Band, performing the Warsaw Concerto. Substitute accompanist at Saint John’s Lutheran Church in Arroyo Grande.
MUSIC TEACHING PHILOSOPHY: Loves the challenge of teaching students with differing abilities and personalities. Enjoys teaching both children and adults. Specializes in helping students discover their fullest potential. Delights in exploring the wonderful variety of music literature available for students.
